Cristobal Balenciaga, originally from Spain, started as a couturier in 1937 and opened up his first fashion house in Paris. Creating beautiful and sometimes radical fashion for many years, he closed down the label in 1968. It wasn’t until 1986 when it was revived again to evolve to the brand we know today.
Dolce and Gabbana
